The kök vases series, which takes its name from the unity of form and texture, is inspired by Anish Kapoor's work Cloud Gate. The bond that the stainless steel used by Kapoor in his work creates with the audience and the formal character it creates under the influence of the material is a process that exists when the artist questions these relationships with the dynamics of the ceramic itself. Essentially, what is desired is to grasp and reinterpret reality within the experimentality of traditional materials, without losing its essence.
The works appear as parts of a process that constantly changes and transforms depending on the formal contradictions and deformation in which they started, within a field of freedom that allows experimental creation. It is aimed to establish a tactile and sensory bond with the viewer by ensuring that each piece gives rise to different feelings and characters within the consciously created deformation, void - fullness, soft - hard relationships on the surface.
