The Journey of Design and Aromatherapy with Yel Studios
I can say that our interest in aromatherapy lies at the very heart of our designs. When we first began designing, we didn’t want to create objects that were merely aesthetic; we wanted each piece to be both visually striking and harmoniously integrated with its space—designs that balance spirit and energy. With this excitement and curiosity, we created our first collection of aromatherapy sets. Every product is designed to be both a modern, sculptural object and a meaningful ritual you can incorporate into your daily life.
Taking our first steps into international sales was incredibly exciting. When an editor from Dwell magazine noticed our Chim Chim incense holder and featured it in an article, it brought us immense joy. Gradually, we began expanding into Turkey as well. Our New Year collaboration with Beymen Home and seeing our products placed in select stores reassured us that we are on the right path. Every step we take is fueled by dedication, passion, and happiness.
The quality of the materials we use is at the forefront—reflected in the color variations, textures, production consistency, and the raw natural beauty of the clay itself. Each product passes through our hands from the design stage until it reaches the customer, and we pour our spirit into every step. Seeing the pieces we create find their place in different spaces, being gifted to someone special, and receiving your heartfelt feedback keeps our belief in what we do alive and strong.
Our backgrounds in architecture and ceramics have given us the opportunity to see and combine different disciplines, which deeply enriches our designs. In architecture, the process is detailed and large-scale; in ceramics, there is the joy of bringing what you design to life with your own hands almost immediately. What we value most in this journey is our belief in each other and in the work we do. After years of living abroad, returning to Turkey and building our brand—initiated by Yalçın—fills us with indescribable happiness when we look at how far we’ve come.
Among our dreams for the future is opening a physical store and connecting with you directly. In that space, we hope to share not only our products but also the full design and aromatherapy experience together. We move forward with passion, craftsmanship, and sincerity—enjoying every moment of this journey and looking forward to sharing each step with you.
