Kök Vases 00/50

Sale price$300.00

It is a limited edition vase series produced by ceramic artist Yalçın Yeşiltepe. The design, which stands out with its striking natural texture appearance on the surface of the vase, has given the clay a smooth and natural glossy appearance by using the polishing technique.

The limited edition vase series was inspired by sculptor Anish Kapoor's Cloud Gate. Each minimal piece is unique and has no variation. A number is inscribed on the bottom of each vase to indicate that it is unique. 12/50

The modern naturalist vase, which can be used with dried flowers or ivy-style living plants, exhibits a sculptural stance as an object with its artistic stance. The form, surface movements and dynamic stance of the vase provide an inspiring timelessness.

"kök means root in Turkish. Because of the philosophy of the work and the surface movements of the form, I decided to give this minimal name to the series."

Naturalness, which is the focal point of the series, tries to capture the simplicity and elegance of nature and refers to the cloud gate.

I go through a lot of palo santo all year, but particularly during the cold weather seasons. I have left burn marks on several tables because of this. Rather than suffer through my mistakes, I suggest you get this stunning little ceramic palo santo chimney burner. I don’t know of a cuter way to bring good vibes and good scents to your home, while preventing the slow decline of your furniture and—let’s face it—the possible immolation of your entire home. My bad. Be safe out there.
